Source: https://nayiem.com/ Founder & builder · San Francisco # Nayiem Willems I build software, networks, and places people use. I’m a Dutch founder based in San Francisco. Today, my work at Mono Labs brings together IceRoot and Monolythium, following years in blockchain, software, and hospitality. Building since 2018 [github.com/NayiemW](https://github.com/NayiemW) ![Nayiem Willems](https://nayiem.com/profile.jpg) A little about the person behind the projects. 01 / Current work ## What I’m building now Mono Labs R&D LLC develops IceRoot and Monolythium. Each network has a different job. Asset continuity ### IceRoot A focused network for digital assets: launch, hold, transfer, and move between networks. Its scope keeps asset operations native to the protocol. [Explore IceRoot](https://iceroot.com) Programmable settlement ### Monolythium A programmable network for applications, markets, and autonomous-agent commerce. It gives developers an execution environment for what they want to build. [Explore Monolythium](https://monolythium.com) **A shared use case.** LYTH is planned to launch on IceRoot, then move to Monolythium when its network is ready. It follows the same migration path designed for other assets. ROOT and LYTH remain distinct tokens. 02 / From my notebook ## Why I’m building IceRoot and Monolythium How the two projects fit together, where the ideas come from, and why an asset’s future should be able to extend beyond one network. [Read the story](https://nayiem.com/why-iceroot-and-monolythium/index.md) LYTH’s planned path 1. **Launch on IceRoot** A native asset with its own identity. 2. **Use the asset** Hold, transfer, and participate. 3. **Move to Monolythium** When the destination is ready. 03 / Along the way ## The work behind the work My background spans running networks, building products, and operating a hospitality business in Sweden. 2021–2025 ### Solar Network I led Solar and worked across its blockchain, wallets, and ecosystem.
